There are many benefits of riding in a group, such as learning by others. For some people,riding snaps into place much faster when they see what they are trying to achieve. Group lessons provide instructors with demo riders so if one rider is finding an exercise particularly difficult there will be a rider within the group who could demonstrate, giving an excellent visual learning tool.
Group lessons are often structured around specific exercises which help to facilitate more independent riding, they add a social component and can also prepare riders for a competition environment.
